The HBCU Run & Brunch is a Hillman Recreation Foundation initiative that exists to celebrate Black excellence, promote holistic health, and unite HBCU/PBI students, alumni, and Divine Nine members through movement, culture, and community. As the first event of its kind on Chicago’s far South Side, our mission is to ignite a lifestyle shift—honoring our legacy while empowering participants to stride toward better health, deeper connection, and collective joy.
